Boarding at Gillridge216

Boarding at Gillridge216 is reserved for dogs who have trained with us or are currently enrolled in our programs. This ensures a consistent, structured environment where dogs are handled in a way they already understand. Because we know each dog and their handler, we are able to maintain clear expectations, appropriate structure, and a calm routine throughout their stay. All dogs must be crate trained and comfortable resting in a crate when required. This allows us to manage dogs safely and fairly while maintaining the standard of care and training that defines our program.

Board and Train

Our Board and Train program is designed for dogs working on specific skills or behavioral challenges and is approached as a collaborative process between trainer and handler. Prior to the stay, a session is required to clearly define goals and ensure alignment in expectations. A follow-up session is equally important, as it allows us to transfer the training back to the handler and ensure they are confident in maintaining and progressing the work. The success of any Board and Train program depends not only on the work done while the dog is with us, but on the consistency and understanding of the handler once the dog returns home.
